In the last NRA newsletter I received in my email, there was an article about MAIG(Mayors Against Illegal Guns). It basicly said that some big anti-gun politicians have started this group and many mayors joined without knowing the true agenda of the group.
I checked to see what MI mayors are involved and there are only two, and Kalamazoo mayor Bobby Hopewell is one of them.
I sent him an email letting him know I oppose him being part of the group, and asked if he knew the true agenda of the group and asked him to reconsider.
I encourage you all to do so too.
