Please DON'T shoot belted magnum rifle cartridges at the 200m steel gong target on the rifle range. The steel is a tough 500 brinell hardness but will not take the higher velocity of the magnum rounds at that short range. Standard rounds such as the .308, .30/06, .223, etc. are okay.
