2007 KRGC New Member Orientation

At the 10/9/06 KRGC board meeting, it was resolved that one (1) new member orientation meeting will take place in '07.

If you know of anyone interested in becoming a new member at KRGC, they should plan to be at this meeting BEFORE 10AM as the clubhouse/parking lot(s) WILL BE FULL. New member dues are $75 for the first year of membership ending 12/31/07. Renewal membership is $50 for each following year.

The Board *may* schedule other similar meetings if membership goals are not attained on 3/3/07.

How many new members are we trying to take on next year?

The number of new members taken in next year depends on the number of current members who do not renew for '07. Over the last 5 years or so, there were usually around 100 members each year who didn't renew.

The membership cap set by the board is 1200 members.

I believe that on 3/3 only the first 100 people to show up will be admitted, regardless of how far below our membership cap we are. Then, the board may decide to hold another orientation at a later date. My point is that even if we're 200 people below our cap, there will not be 200 new members accepted on 3/3.
