Membership Renewals

For those of you who don't know me, I'm your membership secretary. Membership renewals will be going out by first class mail soon, and I know that many of you will be quick to get your renewal back in the mail. But...

I'm leaving on a two-week business trip this Saturday, which will be followed by my annual trip to northern Michigan in search of the elusive (well, at least for me) whitetail. So, please don't panic if you send your renewal in and don't immediately get your new card in the mail. My wife has graciously agreed to keep tabs on the post office box, and when I return from my trips I'll take care of all the renewals that have come in while I was gone. You'll all have your new cards in plenty of time, I assure you.

Memberships renewals are due by February 1 at the latest. After that, your membership lapses and you'll have to fight with everyone else (and pay $75 instead of $50) for an available opening to get back into the club. As of now the only new member orientation is scheduled for early in March (there's another post here somewhere that says exactly when...I don't remember the date).

I'd say get those renewals in ASAP and then forget about it. I'm checking the PO box 3 times/week and processing renewals 2-3 times/week, depending on how many I find in the PO box.

I did not get my renewal form in the mail what should I do?

Anyone who has moved, etc, and has not received a renewal form, send a check for $50 made out to the Kalamazoo Rod and Gun Club along with your name, new address, and new phone# to:

I recieved the membership renewel form inside the latest club bulletin. This is normally how it works except i didnt recieve the club bulletin until the 1st week of January! I immediatly sent in my renewel at that time. My point being--did i miss the renewel form in the nov/dec bulletin?? Normally it doesnt come down to crunch time like this....thanks!! alkazoo

There was a renewal form in the Nov/Dec newsletter...if you got that newsletter, then you must have missed the renewal form.
