TODAY WAS MEMBER APPRECIATION DAY AT THE CLUB.LOTS OF GOOD FOOD WAS PROVIDED AND A NICE BIG FIRE FOR WARMTH. THE ACTION PISTOL & AIR GUNS HAD SCENARIOS SET UP FOR THE MEMBERS TO TRY OUT.I THINK THEY WERE SHOOTING 22 PISTOLS AT THE OTHER END..ATTENDANCE WAS A LITTLE LIGHT--WHERE WERE ALL OF YOU? ??YOU MISSED A REALLY GOOD TIME..A BIG THANKS TO TOM AND HIS HELPERS FOR MAKING SURE WE ALL HAD ENOUGH TO EAT(THEY DID A GREAT JOB)

Sorry i missed it. Been busy with work and was the 1st weekend ive had a chance to hunt, Slipped my mind.

I went down to sturgis and did some pheasant hunting at the preserve with the dog......sounds like fun though.

I would like to try pheasant hunting sometime. Never done it and dont even know where I would go for it. Dont have a dog. do they have dogs they would help you with?

They can get you a guide if you want it. Theres not much for natural hunting in MI anymore, but if you go to a preserve its alot of fun. It was my dog's 4th time going. I'll post up a pic later. He did awesome though, found all of our birds for us. I would take my dog down for you if you wanted to go. Pheasants are $17 a piece.I would like to get my dog out as much as possible, I just cant afford to go as much as I would like. Sometime I'd love to go out west and hunt wild pheasants.
