We just received these photos from JJ O'Shea today of a rifle presentation made to Sgt Chris Parker at Stone Bay Rifle Range, Camp Lejeune, NC. Sgt Parker was wounded in Iraq and was all smiles when presented with the M1 rifle made possible with funds provided from the Kalamazoo Rod and Gun Club.

Looks like he received an impromptu lesson on operating the action. Doesn't look like recoil should bother him too much.
