It looks like the club came through the big rainstorm fairly well. A member who lives near the club recorded 10.2" of rain over the period of Noon 9/12 through 9/14 6pm. The good thing is that it didn't come down in two hours like last time. There is some minor road wash on the hills like always after a big rain event.
About seven members actually showed up at the Saturday workday during the pouring rain. We worked under the 200 yard rifle range cover for a couple of hours, jacked up the roof and replaced one of the poles that were rotted out. Now we don't have to contend anymore with that landscape timber that was holding the roof up in front of the firing line on the west end. I guess all the other work we had planned will have to wait until next spring. Maybe we'll be able to get the wall painted yet this fall.
