For Sale
Spanish Mauser converted to .308. Straight bolt handle carbine with hooded front sight and flash hider. Exactly as it came from Spanish militarty/police forces. FR8 is it's designated name.
Corona receiver? HK style protected front sight adjustable for elevation, rear sight has a rotating disc with three apertures for different ranges and one V notch for open sight shooting. It shoots 4" right @ 100 yards. You will have to heat and bend rear sight to adjust windage, use Kentucky windage or mount a scope.
The stock is oil finished and has the typical bumps and bruises associated with mil. surplus rifles.
I cleaned it inside and out and put a coat of linseed oil on the stock when first purchased it years ago. The bore is bright and rust free. $200.00 Kevin @ 269 962-7107

Kevin, apparently the front sight is capable of windage adjustments: www.surplusrifle.com/shooting2005/FR8FSRework/index.aspI might be interested in the rifle if the windage really is adjustable. It would make for an interesting CMP match rifle as I don't think I've ever seen one on the line. Also, happy birthday. Jim S.

The front sight is adjustable for elevation only, by simply screwing the sight down or up. They welded the rear sight to the rear of the receiver, doh!
I'm sure you could apply heat directly to the sight base and tap it it to the left a little. I thought a cheap scout rifle mount and scope would be a better fix.
