A few days ago the Tigers spanked the Yanks if you've been keeping up. Those were some incredible games to watch with some amazing performances by our pitching staff. Hopefully they can keep playing the same kind of ball tonight in the opener against Oakland.
Post here if you're a fan and keeping up with them.
Go Tigers!!

I'm gonna be watching, although I might have to take some time out for the debate between Jenny and DeVos. Anyone remember the '68 world series when the Tigers beat the Cardnials in 7 games. I was overseas in the service at the time, but listened on shortwave. AWESOME! There was a guy in our division who was from St. Louis and a die-hard Cards fan. Boy was that fun!

Sure do! All of those were day games. I remember RUNNING as fast as I could from school to my grandma's house to watch. She was 4 houses closer to school than home and had color TV. We didn't. A few years later when stationed in Tokyo, hearing Ernie Harwell call a Tigers game on Armed Forces Radio (live at 8AM) sure brought Michigan a little bit closer.

My tv didn't turn from FOX through the whole game....they should have changed the time of the debate if they wanted more viewers. Excellent game though, we got into trouble a few times, but Nate got through it. Hope Casey heals up fast!

How about Alexis Gomez going 2-4 with 4 RBI's and a HR. I love how every night its someone else stepping up and being the star.

Unfortunately the Cards capitalized on the errors, but Spring Training is just around the corner.

Yeah, they definatly beat themselves in that series. It was sad watching them make all of those errors. On a positive note though, we never expected them to make it to the world series at the beginning of the year. Hopefully they trade a few players and acquire some more solid players.
