Well folks, another swap meet has come to a close.
First I want to thank those who braved the cold weather and the slippery roads to come out today. I know those were major factors in the smaller crowd this year. We had just under 200 people walk through the door.
Next I want to thank the 25 vendors for all the merchandise they brought in. The tables were loaded and the crowds were pleased.
The M1 for Vets donations totaled an impressive $495.50. We truly appreciate all the items dropped off to be sold for their benefit. M1 for Vets is a great cause and folks really stepped up to help out some well deserving Vets.
Last but definitely not least, I want to thank the wonderful volunteers that donate so much of there time and labor to make the swap meet such a success. It is often said but always true, KRGC would not be the club it is without you. Thank you.

A great time was had by all! It's really nice to see all the old friends and make new ones at the swap meet.
I'd like to second Kim in THANKING everyone who was involved in putting the event on. Just to name a few of the jobs that need doing every year. There is the set-up crew, the parking crew, the snow removal crew, the kitchen crew, Kim and Brandon who do a fine job in taking reservations and collecting the money, the clean-up crew, and of course the vendors and the fine folks who made donations of items for the M1 for Vets room. Again, Thanks to all of you!
In closing I'd like to mention where last years M1 for Vets money went. Most of it was used to help fund the wounded vets shooting at Camp Perry. Also we went in with the Muskegon Pistol and Rifle Club and Southern Michigan Gun Club to provide a very nice M1 rifle that will be donated to a Michigan wounded vet. This will take place at the annual SMGC Snow Shoot on January 29th.
P.S. Let us not forget Steve Perkowski who started and organized the event six years ago.
