Well, so much for changing the date of the swap meet in order to have better weather. Mother Nature was laughing at me yesterday.
Despite very low visibility at times and slick road in the morning, we had about 283 folks turn out to hunt for some deals from the 27 venders that participated this year. It's always great to see friends you haven't seen in awhile as well as make some new ones. Thanks to all of you for making the swap meet so special.
As Brandon tallied up the "M1 for Vets" donation room contributions, I was completely speechless. (Which you all know NEVER happens.) A very special thanks to all who donated items as well as cash. Deals were made and bargains were struck to the tune of $826.50. Brandon and I are humbled and honored by the generosity of all who help support such an awesome program.
Thank you to all who volunteer in order to make the swap meet such a success. I am truly grateful for all you do.
Folks keep asking about another swap meet in the summer, it's currently in discussion. Once I have details set I'll post information on the web sight and the newsletter.
Thank you, Kim Everett

Had a great time...sold some things and made a little money...bought some things and spent more money than I made. Isn't that what it's all about?
Thanks to all who donated items and all the volunteers who made it happen. Kim worked hard to put this together and thanks to Brandon who spent the entire show taking care of the donation room.
