Just seeing how everyone did this season. I oly got one and it was small. Was a 5 point, would not have shot it but needed to put some meat on the table.

Well I shot a real nice doe 160 lbs during the bow season. My 14 year old son got his first bow kill (6 point). Then opening night of shotgun season I shot a heavy 1/2 rack 6 point. So we have three in the freezer. With that I am sad to say that a member of KRGC and great friend of ours passed away and he will be missed. Garrett Boogholtz. He cut a many deer for us in the past 15-20 years.

I got a 7-pt. and a 3-pt. with bow and arrow this season. They were both clean kills and I saw them drop from my treestand--no tracking.

Shot a nice 7 pointer Nov. 19th at my brother's house/hunting lodge in the boonies north of Ishpeming in the UP. He shot a 6 pointer at the same spot 2 days before. There was a fairly decent crop of 2 year old bucks in the area, but not very many old timers. There was just enough snow to provide decent tracking.

quite the night I and my brother in law had on the evening of 11/17 (saturday).. With only a half hour of light left, hunting near Scottville (rifle area) he shot a nine point and 5 minutes later i shot a nice 8 point less then 1/4 mile from each other!! Both deer are in to the taxidermist right now!! Out of the six guys in camp, five bucks taken opening weekend!!! what a year!!! If someone would tell me how to post a pic on this sight i could show ya those deer!!
