I am not a big fisher. But my kids love it. We fight to find good spots on shore for big enough fish to eat. Looking for some spots we can fish off shore and they will have some better luck. Any sugestions?

Boy... not a lot comes to mind without something to get on the water but I have had some luck right in Fort Custer State park. Three bodies of water there that might be okay fishing from shore but this time of year things also get rather weedy. Eagle Lake where the beach is has some spots right between the road and the beach. There is a bay like area that we have had some luch in. Also Whitford and Jackson Hole lakes. Limited access but do-able from shore. And I have done okay there from shore on certain days. I can tell you that there are some decent fish in there but now adays I am fortunate enough to get on them in a canoe. Use the trails to get to the lessor fished areas.
